The United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain form the main demand cluster. Their large airport systems, railway networks, government facilities, correctional estates, and event sectors support recurring purchases.
Eastern Europe offers faster percentage growth, but procurement volumes are smaller and more dependent on public funding.
European buyers place considerable weight on certification, privacy, accessibility, energy efficiency, product life, and maintenance coverage. So, premium manufacturers generally retain stronger positions than low-cost unverified suppliers.
China
China is one of the largest volume markets and also an important manufacturing base.
The country had 263 transport airports in 2024, including four newly built airports added during that year. This large network creates recurring requirements for passenger screening, staff access, cargo zones, and restricted-area checkpoints.
Passenger traffic is also rising. During the 2025 Spring Festival travel period, China’s civil aviation system handled more than 90.2 million passengers, up 7.4% from the corresponding 2024 period.
